‘The Mummy’ is a horror-adventure film which is also the first installment of a reboot of The Mummy franchise. The official trailer of this upcoming movie is the deadliest among all the movies of this franchise. This horror-adventure movie is starring Tom Cruise (as Nick Morton), s (as Jenny Hasley), Russell Crowe (as Dr. Henry Jekyll), and Courtney B. Vance (as Col. Gideon Forster).
With all these characters you would be excited to watch the rise of the main antagonist, The Mummy (played by Sofia Boutella) who’s preserved for 2,000 years.
The Mummy is a story of a crown princess named Ahmanet who was chosen as the new ruler of Egypt. But, later, Ahmanet’s father decide not to pass his throne to his daughter and wanted to wait till his first son’s birth. The princess didn’t like the idea and in order to claim the throne, she murdered her father. But, nothing goes as per her plans. Instead, she was buried alive under the sand of Egypt so that no one can ever find her.
Later, her tomb was then rediscovered by the American army and they opened her tomb and that is how she entered the world of living after 2,000 years. The Mummy turns against humanity with all her rage that was kept buried for over millennia.
This one of the most awaited films is directed by Alex Kurtzman. The producers of the film are Roberto Orci, Chris Morgan, Sean Daniel, and Alex Kurtzman again.
‘The Mummy’ will hit the cinema on June 9th.
