When we talk about the entertainment industry, the first thing that comes to our minds are films and Indian TV serials that many people watch. Now, you may have come across different TV serials in different languages, but if you closely look at the Indian soap shows, you will notice one thing. Women wear gold more than ‘Bappi Lahiri’ and they think pooja (prayer) makes everything okay:P
No wonder the imagination of these show makers are way more than we think. The actors are actually super human beings because they are immortal: if a person dies in the serial, they will return no matter what! Typical Indian TV serials know how to portray their characters in the most ridiculous yet hilarious way possible.
Telly soaps know how to grab the attention of the audience with their constant ‘masala’ and their extended reel family gossip that makes the audience glued to their screens throughout the year!
Lets look at some of the hilarious things that happen only in Indian TV serials.
1) Women are loaded with jewelry
No matter anytime of the day or night, you can see women in Indian serials wearing heavy sarees with gold jewelry as though they are going to attend some wedding:P The best part is that they even wear them while they are sleeping as well!
2) The return of ‘dead’ people
Death is only a matter of temporary disappearance for the Indian TV serial actors! You may have seen some of the characters dying in the serial and then returning back from the dead with a new makeover or some plastic surgery and take revenge.
3) The saga of marriage and divorce is endless
This can happen only in Indian TV serials. If two people fall in love, they cannot marry because of some situation, so they end up marrying other people. They divorce and remarry their lovers again. They divorce again and go back to their ex lovers and the saga just continues.
4) Women get pregnant without even touching 😛
This is the most hilarious things I have seen in serials. Suddenly, you find a twist in the serials and you see that the girl comes to the guy and says she is pregnant and guess what… the guy does not even remember the time he spent the night with her and blindly marries her. (forced)
5) The good person always loses everything, like literally everything
There is a theory in Indian serials. It is simple. If you are a good person (basically a saint) then be prepared to lose everything. Your home, your family, your career everything comes to a standstill if you are **good**.
6) There is no ‘genre’: you can see everything in one serial!
Yes its true, if it is romance, fight, criminal, comedy, supernatural you will see everything in one specific serial. Don’t go around looking for genres because here my friend you can experience everything.
