Indian TV has gone through lot many changes in recent years. With each passing year there are numerous shows that are aired replacing older ones. But our love for our most ever-green favourite show remains unaffected. We still crave for those times when we along with our entire family used to watch these sitcoms and literally ROFL!!

This ever favourite laugh riot never gets old. You can re-watch the same episode millions of times and wont still get bored. There were reports on this show coming for season 2, but still far there are no developments.

Now who can forget baapuji saying “Praful ‘gadhe’” or saying, “chai laa rahi ho ya bahar se mangwaun?” or Hansa’s “Hello, How are? Khana kha kar jaana, Huh!” This show was a real family entertainer such that people still remember those good old days with tears!

This show, aired on Sony TV was produced by Jaya Bachchan and was something that we still remember today. It is literally associated with our childhood, The title track of this show is mind blowing as well. With a star track of NavinNischol, ShekharSuman, Farida Jalal, BhavanaBalsaver and Sushma Seth this is one of the best sitcoms of Indian TV. The story revolves around three generations of the Diwan family, who live as an extended family in an ancestral bungalow in the suburbs of Mumbai
4.Filmi Chakkar:
The Indravadhan-Maya Sarabhai chemistry actually originated in this sitcom ‘FilmiChakkar’. Those who remembers this show is for sure still crazy for this and yes, not to forget who doesn’t remember the title track of such an amazing show?
5.Hum Paanch:
Hahaha! Well the mere title track is enough to crack you. And yes not to mention Anand Mathur’s woes due to all the women in his family is something that quite hilarious- His 5 daughters, wife and “portrait” of his first wife- Who speaks to him in his imagination. This show is still liked by masses across the country.

The series is based on the premise of “love thy neighbour’s wife”. The main characters are KeshavKulkarni and his wife Kokila. This is definitely the 1990s kids favourite sitcom
7.Tu Tu Main Main:

This comedy sitcom, was first aired on DD until 1995 and was later picked up by Star Plus in 1996. In all it ran for about 11 years. The main focus of this show was the arguments nd bickering between a mother in lw and her daughter in law which was always a comic relief. A sequel for TuTu Main Main was named “KadveeKhattiMeethi” directed by Sachin and aired from 2006.
