Rintu Kalyani Rathod owns Rini Bakes- Own my Dream in Mumbai. She is very commonly known for her Chocolate Ganesh creation. She prepares a chocolate Ganesh and immerses it in milk and distributes the chocolate milk shake as prashad to the under-privileged. She truly understood the meaning of celebrating Ganesh-utsav which is spreading smiles to everyone!

1. Bappa in the making….
The best moments of my life are when I am creating something, but I feel happiest when I am creating my beloved bappa from chocolate. Nothing can describe the feeling, out of this world spiritual experience.
“It pains me tremendously to see the way our environment is exploits in the name of devotion. I just couldn’t bare the sight on the beach after the visarjan. Drunk people dancing on the streets on vulgar film songs blaring from loud speakers is not devotion.I am a commercial designer turned designer baker. I decided to make my idol from chocolate last year. We immersed the idol in milk and distributed the chocolate milk among the underprivileged kids prasad. 1100 people took the prasad last year. It was a 28 kg, 32 inches tall idol. Real visarjan is done by bringing smiles on the faces of little kids not by polluting our waters.This year my idol is 35 kg and 38 inches tall. It took me 50 hours to make it. Hope to distribute prasad to many more people this time, so bappa can stay in them forever. After all, bappa’s favourite place to reside is inside us, nowhere else.”
He is born again….The world knows him as the chocolate Ganesha but I know it’s not just chocolate, he is born out of my soul.With 35 kg of chocolate and 50 hours of making, he is 38 inches tall. like every year he will stay in this form for five days and then he will be transformed into the smiles of hundreds of underprivileged kids. As always Visarjan will be in milk and then those children will become one with the divinity forever when they will consume the chocolate milk as prasad.Last year he went to stay permanently in 1100 people as chocolate milk prasad, this year many more people will be benefited and keep the lord within them. Afterall, bappa’s favorite place to reside is inside us, nowhere else.He is born again, my labour of love…
The Visarjan is done in milk, and the chocolate milkshake is then distributed among the under privileged.
