Panchgani: Travel to lush Hill station

Panchgani  is a famous hill station was discovered by John Chesson during the British Raj as a summer resort. It derives its name from the five hills that surround it. You can also see some old British and Parsi homes that surround the lush forest areas.

Places to Visit in Panchgani:

Table Land: A vast expanse of laterite rock, from where some spacious caves including the “Devil’s Kitchen” are visible from here.

Sydney Point: This point is situated on a hillock facing the Krishna Valleythe glittering waters of the Dhom Dam, and Pāndavgad and Mandhārdeo are visible from here

Devil’s Kitchens: Seen towards the south of the table land, the Devil’s Kitchen  is believed to be the resting place of Pandavas from Mahabharat. Pāndavgad Caves are also said to be built by them.

Mapro Gardens: A garden park known for Strawberry produce. They hold an annual Strawberry Festival where strawberries are laid on the tables and visitors can relish the strawberries to their fullest.
