Congress members in west Godavari, Andhra Pradesh crossed the limits of inhumanity while welcoming their APCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy to their village. When Reddy entered their village, the overwhelmed Congress members welcomed him by firing ‘live pigeon rockets’, by stuffing pigeons into paper cones and sealing tight then lighting the fire, setting the pigeons into the sky. Their main idea was to see the cracker burst high in the sky and the pigeons fly free. But the extreme heat produced by the cracker burst, roasted and killed the birds and they fell to the ground. Raghuveera Reddy was present there when the incident took place.
