Nanda Empire ruled a massive part of India stretching from Bengal to Punjab in the west and till Vindhya Ranges in the south. The king, Mahapadma Nanda, who established the Nanda empire, had 9 sons. The last king of Nanda Empire, Dhana Nanda, built an enormous army- infantry, cavalry, war chariots, elephants. Even Alexander the Great was scared by the Nanda Army.
