By recent Uber cabs incident it proves how safe the female are while boarding a cab. Now a days we have the convenient of getting cab on one call but about women can’t feel safe in all cab, the times women had convenient can be counted. Are the taxi service providers serious about the safety of female passenger?
Any way by being little smart you can ensure a safe cab boarding, Let us not wait for police, society and the government to act. There is no time for that.
Here are few things what you need to do:
Before boarding call family members or friends.
Let the cab drivers know that someone knows that you are boarding a cab.
Ask photo id proof of the driver of the cab you are boarding.
Without seeing the id, driving licences, company id proof do not board the cab and take picture and send those images to a friend.
Use GPS:
Till reaching the destination use GPS to track whether the driver is taking in exact route.
Take a picture of cab specially of number plate.
It might be odd to take pictures of cabs all times but it’s for your safety.
Choose for busy streets thought it takes time to reach.
Use safety app in your mobile.

Use speed dial list for emergency.
Set speed dials settings in your mobile so that you can get connected to your family members and friends at the time of emergency.
Avoid wearing expensive jewellery and Cover up any revealing clothing.
Make sure you carry a stole or jacket to cover any revealing clothes while travelling by taxi.
If possible avoid boarding cab alone.
Do not play candy crush while you are boarding cab.
You might think there is lot of time, so you can finish some levels but you are wrong. You have to be alert when you are alone.
Use GPS and keep calling family and friends and carry pepper spray while boarding.
