Jerusalem is the disrupted capital of Israel and Palestine. It is an embodiment of Human civilization and history. It is one of the most important religious sites to the 3 major religions in the world- Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Jerusalem is the site of the First Temple of Solomon, containing the ark of convenant; for Christians, Jerusalem is the site of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre- the place Jesus was crucified; and for Muslims, it’s the al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holy shrine after Mecca and Medina.
In it’s history Jerusalem has been attacked over 52 times, captured, attacked and re-captured about 44 times and completely destroyed. Jerusalem, Mecca and the Pyramids of Giza, form an alignment, called as the Abraham Triangle.
