We all know the location of sanitary napkins or tampons in the super-markets- that’s mostly because they are NEVER marked as “Sanitary Napkins” on the direction labels; we get to find it easily due to years of experience- but how would a 13-year old be able to find it in a humongous store? Simple- she asks her mom! That’s what we would do too, right? Belinda Hankins, shared some screenshots of her conversation with her 13-year-old daughter and it’s hilarious.
But the series of texts that followed this question is simply amusing and adorable- AND something for us to think as well, about why things related to periods are stacked at some unknown corner of the store especially when the talks surrounding periods are slowly coming out of the closet- then why aren’t stores taking the initiative to actually label the aisle where period related things are stored?
The conversation between a mom & a daughter are as follows:
The moment when your mom has to mention condoms & sex lube :O
Yet, you don’t find them anywhere
Because, yeah- Vaginas are secret 😉
Well, this definitely explains why men are afraid of women and their vaginas
Well, *Smash the Patriarchy* Yeah!! And then thEre is a map as well . . !
