Marriage requires unequivocal trust and loyalty. Without loyalty and love, it just falls apart. When two people who are married, and then one of them starts developing feelings for someone else, out of wedlock and commits infidelity- what remains of the marriage?
Marriage cannot tolerate infidelity. No matter how much you love your spouse. One step out of the boundary of marriage, the thread connecting the trust of two people is shattered. Ouch! is one such short film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, about 2 people who are in love, yet have been cheating on their respective spouses for 3 long years.
Issues arise in every relationship, but what happens when issues arise in a loveless marriage? Casual sex is quite common and yes, you can definitely go on having a casual sex, provided you are being safe and with consent; but then sex outside marriage?
Unfortunately, these days, sex outside marriage is quite prevalent- with the excuse “We are adults, and we both consented to it!” But, you really need to introspect, whether you are morally and ethically right in cheating your spouse? What about the commitment you have towards your spouse?
Ouch, touches the right chord with the rising issue of infidelity in our society.
