Lakshey Sehgal, a 25-year old renewable energy-aficionado is keen on equipping and educating the solar entrepreneurs with the tools run their business successfully.
There was a deficiency in trained man-power when he joined this sector initially, especially due to lack of awareness about advanced technology and innovative products, even when the government was rooting for increased use of natural resources in rural and urban areas. A solar entrepreneurship is a vast field where one can be either a manufacturer or an installer.
With a team of four people, Spektron Solar organises training sessions and workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs in solar system installations, which helps them to understand the skills and knowledge required for this sector.
The training sessions mostly take place on rooftops or open grounds where they are given a practical session which helps them in understanding things that can go wrong during installations, the orientation required for the panels, etc.
Awareness of these programmes is created through advertisements in newspapers, Facebook events, or by advertising sites. Lakshey has earlier conducted workshops in Bangalore, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Madhya Pradesh, and Ranchi.
