The police have arrested a Dutch tech expert Mike Kamminga for working as a peddler in delivering drugs throughout the city. He was captured along with 2.6 grams of DMT and a psychedelic substance.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Excise Department catched Kamminga, who is working as a solution architect in a US based company, Innominds, from his flat at Nanakramguda on Tuesday night. He was living in the flat with his Indian wife and a child.
According to one of SIT official, they followed a lead taken from various drug peddlers who were arrested and then mentioned Mike’s involvement.
The official said that Mike had asked them about the punishment he might receive and understood all the investigation which has been done by the SIT. The SIT can now make various raids in the city based on the information provided by Mike.
Mike, who is 33-year-old has a valid Indian visa till June 28 and has visited the city four-times recently.
He has been arrested with various evidences, along with his laptop and cell phones. He will be produced before the court for trial and the Dutch Embassy will also be informed, according to the details provided by the SIT officials.
