Well, with the release of the film ‘IT’, many people got goosebumps while watching the horror flick and they have totally liked it. Many of us have heard many stories behind the movie. Well, we all know that it is a 1986 horror novel that was written by the famous author, Stephen King and there are many hidden facts that many of you probably didn’t know!
It is amazing to know facts and histories behind a horror movie right?! Well it has gone a great job in scaring the hell out of people in many ways and I am waiting to watch this amazing film. 1.In 1990, the novel was later adapted into a TV miniseries featuring Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown, John Ritter as Ben Hanscom, Harry Anderson as Richie Tozier, Richard Masur as Stan Uris, Tim Reid as Mike Hanlon, Annette O’Toole as Beverly Marsh, Richard Thomas as Bill Denbrough, Olivia Hussey as Audra Phillips, Dennis Christopher as Eddie Kaspbrak, and Michael Cole as Henry Bowers.
2.As explained in the Dark Tower Series, Pennywise has a similar shape-moving capacity as the evil character Dandelo. The character has been named by a few outlets as one of the scariest jokesters in film or popular culture.
3.Did you know that the last IT movie came out in 1990. Pennywise comes out and terrorises Derry every 27 years. 1990 + 27 = 2017! Scary right?!
4.Pennywise is an animal creature from another universe; he’s a substance from the Macroverse we landed on earth on an asteroid many years ago. Pennywise has many powers that were never uncovered in the 1990 miniseries, including mind control and clairvoyance.
5.Did you know that Pennywise’s hair was real?! Well, that is creepy. It was inspired by genuine serial executioner John Wayne Gacy, who takes on the appearance of a clown and does kids’ gatherings. He’s called “the clown killer” and would do social administrations in parades and he also visited children in the healing facilities.
