Yes guys its true! Selena and Weekend have split for real and we are not going to see this cute couple in public anymore. It’s over for Selena Gomez and The Weeknd.
The couple has separated following 10 months of dating, People reports. The split comes after various late sightings of Gomez and ex Justin Bieber hanging out. A week ago, Gomez was seen traveling every which way from Bieber’s home, and they were spotted together again on Sunday snatching breakfast and making a beeline for chapel.
As indicated by People, separate confused the connection between Gomez, 25, and 27-year-old The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye.
“She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship,” a source stated in a magazine.“It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them.” Obviously, the split was bound to happen.
“It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months,” the source included.
Meanwhile, Gomez was spotted hanging out with Justin Bieber whom she dated on-and-off from 2011 to 2015. The duo were seen going to the church together and were shot by TMZ getting breakfast at a bistro in Westlake Village, California.
It’s been a hard year for Gomez, who uncovered in September that the reason she discreetly ventured once more from her vocation over the late spring was on account of she was recuperating from a kidney transplant.
The Weeknd and Gomez were first spotted together in January, when they were seen sharing a kiss while out on a romantic dinner date. A source told at the time that the growing romance was “new and nothing serious.”
Not with standing, in the months that took after, the two would flaunt their status as the perfect celebrity couple. Gomez and Weeknd flew out to Italy together not long after and even traveled to the “Earned It” vocalist’s main residence of Toronto, Canada, in March.
