We all know the famous Sushil Kumar who is known for his amazing wrestling skills and he has also made India proud by winning two gold medals at the Olympics earlier. This time, the wrestler has returned with a bang after three years and yet again he makes India proud by winning Nationals Gold Medal in Indore on Friday. But, it looks like there was a celebrity who was not quite happy with his victory. Yes, it is none other than Farhan Akhtar himself who does not want Sushil Kumar to accept his Nationals Gold Medal.
It was an easy win for Sushil Kumar as he fought only two rounds out of five as his opponents in the quaterfinals, semifinals and the final round refused to fight him and touched his feet while they were in the ring and left without competing with him, which made Sushil the sole winner of the battle that took place. It was the 74kg category and this victory sure did come with a controversy.
Looks like Farhan Akhtar was not very happy with Sushil accepting the Gold Medal and the celebrity took to twitter to express his opinion and he requested Sushil to not accept the Nationals Gold Medal as it is not “sportsmanlike.”
In his tweet he wrote, “I hold @WrestlerSushil in high regard for all he has achieved through hard work, discipline, blood and sweat. Sincerely hope he does not accept the gold in this manner. It’s not sportsmanlike.”

Soon after this post went viral on the internet, many people responded agreeing with Farhan but there were also many who trolled the celebrity for not appreciating the wrestler who has made India proud.
