Aksay Tritaya (Tuesday, April 21) is considered as an auspicious day for buying gold, silvers and other metals.
Last year, the price was around Rs 30,000 levels/10gm which made inconvenient for many gold seekers. Currently they are down to Rs 27,000 levels.
In India, people have great affinity for gold and in fact it is also biggest importer of gold.
It is believed to be an asset and can also be exchanged for instant money in case of emergency.
