First ‘World Ethnic Day’ celebrated today with distribution of 10 lakh bindis by Crafstvilla

World Ethnic Day’is a concept by Mumbai based ‘craftsvilla.com’ to create awareness on countries ethnic roots, heritage, civilization, anthropology, art and culture. Though digitally the whole world is ‘one’ but when it comes to roots then each have their uniqueness.

Vidya Balan, the ambassador has urged people to celebrate it in cultural style with ethnic wear, handicrafts, foods, games and etc.

While the online site for ethnic products, Craftsvilla has decided to distribute 10 lakh red bindis worldwide to mark the day. For this job, the organization has deployed around 100 of employees.

The small and colourful bindis are one of the oldest traditional make-up accessories that represent the culture of India.
