Eyes are the most expressive organs in our body. Applying eyeliner can make your eyes look beautiful than never before. But in order to know what suits you the best, you need to know the eyeliner style that would suit your eye shape.
Here are the different styles for your eye shape!!
1. Round Eyes
Round eyes are wide and large. If you can see the white cornea above or below, when you look straight, you have round eyes.
Lining the outer edges of you lash line or opting for a nice, long winged liner look would be preferable. Liquid eyeliner would suit better for such kind of a style.
2. Almond Eyes
To know if you have an almond eye shape, look at your self in the mirror. If you literally have a humble almond shape, where your iris disappears into your upper and lower lid, you do have these eyes.
Winged liner would complement to the beautifully curved eyes. If you are using a regular pencil, then take note of your eye size before applying. If you have small eyes apply a thin line else a slightly thicker one.
3. Small Eyes
Are your eyes comparatively smaller to the nose and mouth? Bingo!! You have small eyes. The distance between your brow bone and eyelashes is short.
Never apply dark lines on the bottom waterline, because they will make your eyes look smaller. Instead swipe a thin line on your top lash line and outer corner of the lower lash line, in order to give frame to the eyes.
4. Big Eyes
If your eyes are bigger than the rest of your facial features they are clarified as “big”.
You are lucky!! Big eyes can experiment with any kind of eyeliner style. You can line both the upper and lower lash lines without making them look small. You can also try winged liner or cat eyes.
5. Close Set Eyes
Check out the gap between your eyes. Can you fit another eye in that place? If not, you have close set eyes.
You should concentrate on the outer corners of your eye if you possess this shape. Using a soft pencil, make a thin line in your inner side corners and a thick one at the outer. Do not drag the line on the inner side all along the tear duct, as it would make the eyes look smaller.
6. Deep Set Eyes
Your eyes are set deeply into the skull, making your brow bone prominent.
Apply a thin line as close as possible to the lash line and only line the outer half of your eye. You can apply a thin line in the bottom line as well to finish the look.
7. Prominent Eyes
Prominent eyes bulge outwards from the eye sockets.
You can create an illusion of smaller eyelids by drawing a thick line on the upper lash line. You can play around with your bottom line, as you like.
8. Monolids
Monolids barely have a crease and are flat. The brow bone is less defined.
Start applying a thin line from the inner corner and thicken it as you go along. Winged and cat eye looks will also suit these eyes.
9. Hooded Eyes
If your eyelid droops over your eye when open, then you are proud owner of a pair of hooded eyes.
Because the folding over the lid makes your eyes look smaller, you would like to make them seem wider. Start by thickening the lash base by applying liner between the roots of the lashes and be sure to apply thick line at the outer corner of your eye.
