Dark Humor was very popular in 1930s. This was the reason why Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton kept themselves in harm’s way many a times. Walt Disney, “inspired” from this, created a comic strip in which Minnie leaves Mickey for another mouse- Mr. Slicker. Mickey Mouse goes into depression and tries committing suicide.
