Shiksha Ka Sooraj: A Music Video on Indian Adult Literacy
India is gearing for its 69th Independence Day, but still many regions still lag behind in Adult Literacy. Many villages have taken up the initiative to teach the adults, but there are still some regions where, although the initiative is present, but there is no one to come forward and learn.
This video, although was released way back in 2012, it still stands as National Literacy Anthem. This is a beautiful and inspiring video directed by Taher Shabbir and Ashutosh Shah and creatively produced by RuchiNarain, produced by Rizla Films & NFDC in association with Excel Entertainment & Rewind Films; this anthem truly depicts the importance of literacy among the adults – Age no bar… in rural and remote areas of our country!
