1. Snape killed Dumbledore
This was by far the most shocking twist in the Harry Potter Series, when in Order of the Phoenix, Snape was working for the Order, in the Half-Blood Prince, we were in for a rude awakening when Snape’s “seemingly” true color was revealed. It was inevitable that Dumbledore would die by Snape’s hands; but what we were not ready was for the “whole truth” that was said after the Battle of Hogwarts. Snape was the character that we all loved to hate and our “feelings” was justified in book #6, but our 7 years of hatred evaporated into feelings of empathy, the most loved and bravest character of all the Harry Potter Series.
2. Macbeth kills King Duncan
In this Shakespeare play, Macbeth was one of the most respected and loved subject of King Duncan. Macbeth, influenced by the words of his wife, Lady Macbeth in their greed to become the king, murdered King Duncan, while he was asleep as a guest in Macbeth’s mansion. This set the chain of events that was sure to make the witches’ predictions true.

5. Voldemort killed SnapeWell, this isn’t something new, as Voldemort is known to kill people for his advantage. But him killing Snape was least expected as he completely trusted Snape, even while killing him he never doubted him in the least, all he wanted was to own the Elder Wand, which, he mistakenly thought belonged to Snape as he killed Dumbledore, not understanding that the Dumbledore’s death was planned between the two, but then Draco Malfoy disowned the wand from Dumbledore initially and Harry then disowned Draco, making Harry the owner of the wand. Snape died the most painful death, the only solace being he dies seeing Lily’s Eyes . . err., Harry’s eyes and finally able to say out loud to Harry that “You have your Mother’s eyes” ;(
Snape truly is the only Slytherin who died like a Gryffindor.
