Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, 72 and his actress wife, Jaya Bachchan will re-unite on-screen in Hindi cinema, after 14 years for R Balki’s upcoming rom-com ‘Ki and Ka’. They were last seen on-screen in Karan Johar’s mega family drama, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (K3G). They were last seen together in 2012, “Ganga”, their Make-up man, Deepak Savant’s Bhojpuri film.
The suite at a hotel was replicated into Jalsa’s Living room, (Their residence in Juhu). The décor, furniture was exactly replicated. Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Nanda’s photographs were sourced and so was Big B’s photos from his earlier days. Even Amitabh Bachchan’s father, the esteemed poet, Harivanshrai Bachchan’s photographs were hung as well.
The scene was a hilarious one, in which the Power-couple and Arjun Kapoor are seen. The couple are playing themselves in the movie and were allowed to choose their own costumes. Mr.Bachchan wore a blue Nehru jacket and Jaya Ma’am, opted for an elegant Red sari with a golden blouse and pearl drops in her ears with her hair tied back.
