Faithfulness, loyalty and friendship is distinctive to dogs and this is a living proof to an incident where a setter, Tillie stayed with her friend, Phoebe, who accidentally fell into a cistern in a ravine until she was rescued by VIPP. Tillie would go every day looking for help but always come back to her friend.
These dogs had gone missing a week ago and a non-profit animal rescue organization- Vashon Island Pet Protectors (VIPP), Washington state;displayed photos of these dogs.
Later in a Facebook post, they narrated about how a community member informed that for a few days “reddish” dog had been coming up to them and then promptly heading back into a ravine.
Later after following the instructions and searching, the VIPP volunteers found Tillie lying beside an old cistern with her head resting on the concrete wall and Phoebe perched on some concrete rubble that held her out of the water.
