NASA has confirmed to found a solar system with 7 newly-discovered earth-sized exoplanets. The space agency suggested that these planets have a possibility to possess life-supporting liquid. They are also assuming that these planets could have proper atmospheric conditions to support life system. But, there are three planets out of these seven newly-discovered exoplanets which carry the highest possibility of having a habitable zone.

These planets are being a part of a solar system which is leading by star TRAPPIST-1. TRAPPIST stands for Transiting Planets and Planetesimals Small Telescope. Well, this star is supposed to be 40 light-years away from Earth. This solar system is the one which has set a record of having the highest number of habitable planets.
Thomas Zurbuchen who is an associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington released a statement which says, “This discovery could be a significant piece in the puzzle of finding habitable environments, places that are conducive to life.” He also added, “Answering the question, ‘Are we alone?’ is a top science priority and finding so many planets like these for the first time in the habitable zone is a remarkable step forward toward that goal.”
During the Q&A session of the press conference, NASA scientists have confirmed that these exoplanets are yet to be named as there is no easy system to name exoplanets. They also revealed that they don’t have the confirmation of the presence of water on any of these planets. They said the data suggests that these planets do have a rocky surface. NASA also revealed that these planets are very close to each other which means if a person is standing on one planet then he/she would be able to figure out the geographical details of the nearby planet.
