The gaseous components in the air pollution, is notoriously toxic and it contributes to the deaths of about 1.6 million people. Beijing-based data scientist Yann Boquillod, also the founder of AirVisual Earth, an online air pollution interactive map that uses data from satellites and monitoring stations and displays global air pollution – real time.
The AirVisual Earth interactive maps shows color-coded concentrations of PM2.5 that can penetrate deep into the lungs Boquillod crafted the map so people really understand how bad it is. AirVisual also has a 3-day air pollution forecasts for 6000 cities to smartphones.
