Recently, it was reported that Nana Patekar and Marathi actor Makarand Anaspure , were lending a helping hand to grief stricken farmers in the Vidharba region of Maharastra. It is now reported that Superstar Akshay Kumar will be assisting these farmers with Rs 90 Lakhs.About 90 lakh farmers’ lives were devastated because of the drought in Maharashtra, due to which their ‘official’ crop- the Kharif crop, was destroyed completely. For the coming 6 months, around 30 farmers will get Rs 50,000/- each. And this step was initiated by Beed district’s IG, VishwasNangrePatil and Akshay Kumar’s representative,Vedant Bali.
