The most popular hindi TV soap- Balika Vadhu has registered its name in the Limca book of records with a run of over 2000 episodes being the longest running daily fiction soap.
Balika Vadhu began it’s journey as the soap that highlights the social evils of child marriages and other issues faced by these young girls, what began the journey of Anandi and Jagadish, as a child bride and bride-groom, who grew up and fought for various social evils like widow re-marriage and female illiteracy and other social evils that exists in the country.
