Beyonce recently released a capable short film on YouTube called “Yours And Mine”. The film is wonderfully shot in high contrast and gimmicks voice-over portrayal from Bey. The short film is intended to celebrate the one-year celebration of her visual collection, basically called Beyoncé. In the film, Queen B touches on different types of subjects from music to parenthood to women’s liberation. One of the more clever parts is when Beyonce addresses popularity. She says:
I sometimes wish I could be anonymous walking down the street like everyone else… Now that I’m famous it’s really, really difficult to do very simple things… When you’re famous, no one looks at you as a human being any more. You become property of the public. There’s nothing real about it.
