Actress Daljeet Kaur, famed for playing the role of Anjali in Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon?, is surely a blessed lady. She evaded death not once, but twice in a span of 3 days. She recently filed for divorce from her ex-husband Shaleen Bhanot whom she married on December 9, 2009 and gave birth to their son on November 8, 2013; citing Physical abuse. The couple also won Nach Baliye in 2013.
She was on the set of the new show, ‘Savdhan India’, when she just moved from her room to another room , and within a few minutes everyone rushed to her room and informed her that she escaped her death as the roof collapsed on the bed where she was sitting just few minutes ago.
The second incident happened just 2 days later on the sets of Maha kumbh. Throwing light on the incidents she said, “The last day of the shoot was on the sets of ‘Maha kumbh’. I did my makeup, changed and went to the other room to meet Swati, who was playing the parallel lead. I ended up chatting away in her room and as it was the last day of the shoot and I sat there catching up with her. Suddenly the spot boy came with a scared look on his face and told me that my room could not be recognized as the whole roof collapsed and I went numb. I could only feel that God was so kind on me to save me not once but twice. Everyone said that I was blessed and that God was on my side. I looked at the room and could not believe that I was right there getting ready where that big slab of roof fell.”
