A horrifying incident has taken place in Las Vegas on Sunday, where no less than 50 people died when a shooter opened fire at a country music celebration in Las Vegas. The Associated Press announced Monday that more than 200 people were injured. It is being accounted for as one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.
As per the AP, the suspect, Stephen Paddock, died and two of the casualties were cops who were off-duty.
Jason Aldean was performing amid the Route 91 Harvest Festival when the gunshots began. From that point forward, Aldean, along with various other country stars and celebrities, have reacted about the attack. In an Instagram post, Aldean called the attack”beyond horrific.”
“Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still don’t know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that me and my crew are safe,” Aldean wrote on Instagram. “My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night.”

Many celebrities have taken to social media to express their heart felt condolences.
Brittany, Adlean’s wife also posted about the tragedy on her Instagram account. “We are safe… our angels were definitely watching over us tonight. No words for what happened… Just horrific. Praying for everyone,” she quoted.
Many artists who performed at the end of the week’s celebration, including Lauren Alaina, Jake Owen, and Dylan Scott, among others, tweeted messages giving condolences for the casualties’ families.
Even celebrities and country artists who were not present for the music festival in Las Vegas also sent their condolences.
