A healthy appreciation of Indian Culture- showcasing everything that we love to paint India as- Bright, colourful, cultural, music, traditional aspects; It shows a everyday life of Indians- commotions outside on a road, tripling on a 2-wheeler, break dancing, sitting on a balcony, seeing sadhus on road-sides (although not everywhere in India- but we certainly do see them almost everywhere in Banaras, Nasik, Ujjain and other religious places); They have painted India as an exotic nation- which clearly is depicted in the album. Sonam has a cameo in the album and she looks as beautiful as ever. Clad in a lehenga and traditional simple jewelery and that huge nose stud, she looks pretty!
The video received pretty big backlash for portraying India like this- vibrant and colorful and the everyday life of commoners; people keep complaining that India has malls and multiplexes- BUT what we don’t want to accept is the fact that This is the real India- they have tried capturing what India is to common people; and yes- we do have malls, but not many people have access to malls in many villages and towns- Accept it!
