“DAD: Savings and Loan – Because, apparently, I look like I’m made of money.”

A 6-Year-old kid asked his father for an allowance of $20 to buy a new toy- so the father took this opportunity to give his little son his first ever lesson in finance.

He printed out a letter- statement exactly like the one we get from bank stating why he cannot sanction his loan at this time!

“We regret to inform you at this time that we are unable to provide a loan in the amount requested of $20.00. After reviewing your account, we have find you have insufficient funds, and a history of not doing your chores.”

The letter went on to say that he’s already in debt for his Christmas presents and that he could choose to refute their decision by calling them “complaints department”- Mom!  The best part is the letterhead at the top right corner, which includes the tagline “DAD: Because, apparently, I look like I’m made of money.”

Now, isn’t this the best parenting ever? And although parenting isn’t easy- it can be innovative and educative!
