You might have heard about technical Savvy city and there are many such cities but have you heard of technical Savvy village? Yes there is, a village known as Punsari in Gujarat of India. What might be the reason behind and how a village came up in eight years from an ordinary one?
This village has everything which a Tec- savvy city will have and more that like, computers, CCTV, Bio metric machines and more. Even the parents can track their children’s performance through CCTV installed in their mobiles. This all happened because of the Himanshu Patel, 31 village Sarpanch who did all the development by utilizing all govt schemes.
The village has two schools from which there no dropout and a health centers. All homes have toilets, fresh water connection street lights, and all imaginable essential facilities are there. The transport system is streamlined to go to the city pay just Rs.1 and free for school going kids. RO Drinking water 20 liters Rs. 4/
Recently a team from Central Government headed by Additional Secretary visited and selected the Punsari village as the Model Village for all of 640 districts of India.
