Imagine a luxurious, fine diving while moving in a sea. Now, it’s possible for Mumbaikars to enjoy an amazing night in the middle of the sea. Well, the news is exciting for all of us. Mumbai has got its first floating hotel which is going to be a gem to the already known Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
The AB Celestial, the first ever floating hotel of Mumbai is actually a three-tiered yacht. The ground floor of the yacht offers a 24-hour coffee shop, the first floor is having a huge banquet hall, and the top floor is having a lavish lounge bar. But, there is one more thing which is more exciting than all of these three floored floating hotel is the open terrace. Think of dining under a starlit sky on the top of a luxurious yacht. You will be touched by the breeze of the Arabian sea. It is just too exciting to even think about such a place.
Floating hotel is not an innovative concept in India as we do have floating diners in many other states which include Goa, Kerala, and Kolkata. But, this yacht is something different from rest of them. This yacht was already built in 2004 in the US by the collaborated effort of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, WB International Consultant, and AB Hospitality. Still, the launch got delayed till 2017 due to a few permission issues by the government.
The major objective of the yacht is to attract foreign tourists and local residents. This floating hotel is capable of hosting 660 members at a time. You can also go for an online booking if you don’t want to return without the luxurious experience.
