Butters are used in almost everything and in every cuisine! Why not give a delightful twist to the butter by making a Flavored butter- both sweet and savory.Any butter- plain or flavoured tastes heavenly on a bit of toast, and you can also replace them with normal butter in your cooking! Which will give you an added taste of the herb or flavor.
Fruit Butter:
Toss in ½ cup unsalted plain butter in a processor and add ¼ cup fruit butter to it- figs, orange, mixed, raspberry, or any fruit jam you like. Blend it properly, and set it in the fridge.
Cranberry and Lemon Butter:
In the processor, to the ½ cup of unsalted butter, add some of cranberry, 2 tsp. lemon zest and blend. Remove it and set it in fridge.
Garlic Butter:
Blend ½ cup butter and add ground garlic paste to it, blend it properly and set it in the refrigerator. You can also add some herbs like parsley, thyme or oregano and some black pepper for the added taste.
Chipotle Cilantro Butter:
To a ½ cup unsalted butter,add ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro, 1 chipotle chile,1 tsp. lime juice, salt to taste, and ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper and blend it together and set it in refrigerator.
