1. Olive Oil:1 tbsp. of Olive oil with few drops of Lime juice, helps in relieving constipation when taken in on empty stomach
2. Warm Water:In one glass of warm water, squeeze the juice of one lime and sip when still warm. It helps in cleansing inside out. Also helps in increasing the rate of metabolism
3. Exercise:Exercise or atleast go out for a morning walk; it will help in moving the colon muscles as well; although there are no proved scientific proofs
4. Fiber: Opt for foods with lots of fiber. Go for fresh fruits and vegetables rather than canned ones.
5. Flaxseeds or Flax oil: few drops of Flaxseed oil in your orange juice or a tbsp.. of flaxseed powder in your daily bowl of cereal will help in relieving constipation
6. Aloe vera Juice: One cup Aloe-vera juice every morning helps against constipation
7. Epsom Salt: 2 tsp. (adults) or ½ tsp. for kids in a glass of water or fruit juice helps in bowel movement within 5 hours
8. Yogurt: Yogurt helps in increasing the normal flora of the gut; which again helps in proper bowel movement.
