An air hostess of a private airline has been found dead in in Kolkata on Wednesday. According to reports, the victim 23-year-old, Khongsit Clara Bansha Rai allegedly fell from the third floor of the building.
Police said that Rai was working as a cabin attendant for Indigo Airlines. Police have also detained two persons in connection with the incident for questioning.
Providing more information on the incident, police said that Rai had organized a friend’s birthday party at her residence in Kestopur, which falls under the Baguiati Police Station area. Her body was noticed by a passer by at around 4.30 am in the morning.
Police said that they found two friends of her sleeping in the flat with no idea of the incident. Both the friends are being questioned, clarified police. The victim’s body has been sent for the postmortem and the investigation in the case has been triggered. Police also said that nothing ascertained can be told right now.
A friend very close to Rai, while speaking to The Indian Express, said the Clara was a sweet girl from St. John’s High School, she studied in the Lady Keane College of Shillong after which she got enrolled herself into an airline. Her birthday is next month, said the friend.
