The haunting incident of the Hurricane Irma has left many people stranded with its 130mph winds on Sunday that washed away the entire state leaving people knocked without electricity and snapping massive construction of cranes over the Miami skyline.
Hurricane Irma is said to be one of the most powerful storm that is said to have been recorded in the Atlantic, that passed over Florida Keys and slowly moved on to hit the state’s western coast. The National Hurricane Center said in its report that Irma was moving North and will continue to move forward over the Western Florida Peninsula through Monday and then will rush to Southeastern States United States On Monday and Tuesday.
On late Sunday afternoon, Irma hit on Marco Island as a category 3 storm. The NHC in Miami said Irma’s intense eye thundered ashore at Marco Island only south of Naples with 115 mph speed wind, at 3:35 p.m. Sunday. Category 3 storms have winds from 111 to 129 mph, yet a 130-mph wind blast was as of late reported by the Marco Island Police Department.
A woman was in her labor pain and the hospital ambulance could not reach out to her due to heavy floods and high winds. She was guided through delivery by phone and later the Firefighters took her to the hospital.
Nearly 7 million people were alerted to evacuate in the Southeast and around 6.4 million people from Florida alone were asked to evacuate. Though all of them are asked to stay indoors and shelter themselves until further notice, the storm left nearly 27 people dead across the Carribean.
Curfews were forced in Miami, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and a few arrests of violators in South Florida were accounted for. Miami Beach banished pariahs from the island.
