Handwriting reveals more than your personality traits, like your health! As we are all aware of graphology- the elaborate science behind deciphering the hidden meanings behind a person’s handwriting; but in modern times, it is used to serve a variety of purposes from criminal investigations to answering numerous queries related to your health.
With remarkable advancement in the field of graphology, you can now find out if any of your loved ones has any disturbing clinical conditions and physiological processes.
1.High BP: The characteristics of the handwriting of a person afflicted with high blood pressure have a very shaky handwriting. Graphologists have determined the fact that the letters produced by hypertensive patients are very uneven in nature.
2.Schizophrenia: Mostly illegible handwriting is encountered by graphologists when analyzing a specimen by a patient of schizophrenia. There are drastic changes almost to the point of concluding that the specimens were written by completely different people which had actually been written by a single individual.
3.Pregnancy: Researchers have found out that it is possible to detect the presence of the ‘pregnancy spot’ around 72 hours after conception in a woman’s handwriting. It can be deduced by the middle zone of the pregnant woman’s handwriting especially noting the letters ‘a’ and ‘o’. Also, by analyzing the loops of ‘p’, ‘f’, ‘g’ and ‘y’, the gender of the unborn child can be clearly determined to be characterized by XY at the end of the sixth gestational month. In case of a girl child, the said loops will point towards the left.
4.Dyslexia: People with dyslexia, have disturbed handwriting which doesn’t follow a set pattern. It is important to improve by way of practicing cursive handwriting in a relaxed environment which will help develop a ‘physical memory’ of each alphabet and helps in producing the correct shape of every letter even with backward patterns like ‘d’ and ‘q’ correctly without confusing them with letters such as ‘b’ and ‘p’ respectively.
5.Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s: The characteristics of Parkinson’s disease are tremors, Bradykinesia (slow movement), rigidity and poor balance which results in a very small handwriting with cramped words.Patients with Alzheimer’s disease have widely spaced handwriting. This is a representation of the primary characteristic of this disease i.e. forgetfulness.
6.Depression: Cheery people tend to write in a flow which clearly shows in their handwritten script- if the crossbar of ‘t’ slants in an upward position from left to right, then that signifies optimism. If, however, all the letters of the manuscript have a downward slant and a lack of alignment, then the subject is said to have depression.
