Few things in this world look impossible, but it doesn’t mean that they cannot happen. Spiritualty in this world is taken with a different perspective and differs from person to person. For some, it is a personal connection with God, and for some it is to know themselves better.
We ought to be thankful to some of the spiritual techniques like Yoga, meditation or controlled breathing, through which the impossible has been made possible.
Here is one such man from India who claims to have not eaten a morsel of food or even a drop of water from 75 years.
Prahlad Jani was born in 1929 in Rajasthan, India. He left his house at the age of 7, in thirst for spiritual awakening. He attributes himself as one who has underwent a spiritual experience in which three Hindu goddesses Ma Kali, Ma Laxmi and Ma Saraswati appeared in front of him and blessed him pleased by his spiritual awakening. And when he asked them about his food and water, they said he wouldn’t need it from henceforth.
Since that day, Jani has not eaten or drank anything. He also decided to worship Goddess Ma Amba as his female worshipper. He has worn woman clothing and donned himself with the jewelry of the same and changed his name to Chunriwala Mataji (the mother with the Holy scarf).
He has been examined and was under investigation for a period of 10 days in 2003 and 2010 by a team of 30 doctors.
According to the hospital’s deputy superintendent in Ahmedabad, Dr. Desai said that Jani did not consume anything and neither passed urine or stool.
He was tested again in 2011 for a period of 15 days, and the same result was proved.
