Mere Saamne Wali Sarhad Mein: An Eye-Opening ‘spoof’ on Similarities between Indians and Pakistanis

Mere Saamne Wali Sarhad par . . is a parody on the lines of Kishore Kumar’s “Mere saamne wali khidki par” about the conditions of India and Pakistan and why the people are suffering. This parody has been performed by Indian Ocean bass player and Singer, Rahul Ram along with stand-up artist and lyricist Varun Grover and satirist Sanjay Rajoura, who uploaded the song on August 15 on Youtube and Facebook ( especially for Pakistanis, as Youtube is banned there). This song was uploaded to celebrate Independence Day of the two nations on August 14 and 15.

The song touches almost all the issues faced by the common public in both the nations such as censorship, religious restrictions, politics, corruption and moral policing.

Being Indian, uploaded this video on Facebook on August 15.

This video has a MESSAGE FOR PAKISTAN, our sarhadpaar neighbours..AisiTaisi Democracy sings to show the differences…
