Indian Politicians known for their insensitive and inhumane “statements” almost always hit the development of the society either directly or indirectly. Most of the ‘thoughts’ are utterly regressive which cause the major hindrance in the society moving forward towards its development. It is only because of these idiotic thoughts of our politicians that most of people from our society are being influenced and impose them on others- Statements issued in the name of rape, same-sex marriages, love, relationships, sex, women’s dressing, friendship with opposite gender – these are only the tip if the dung-heap and these statements keep getting bizarre and weird with passing time.
1. Ashok Singhal, VHP Convenor
– I was at the Sai Baba Ashram where Sai Babatold me by 2020 the entire country will be Hindu and 2030 the entire world will be Hindu. I feel that revolution has started
– Hindu couples should have five children.
Why is it VHP is hell bent on Hindutva? Cannot they live and let live everyone peacefully? And hey- 5 children? For what? To ensure hindus don’t become a minority? Bull shit! People think lot before even thinking of a single kid, and you want Hindus to go for 5 Kids? Ofcourse- You wouldn’t know the pain of giving birth to a kid let alone 5! And what about upbringing? Expenses? Education ? Now why would you think of that?
2. Chiranjeet Chakraborthy, Trinamool Congress Legislator
– Skirts should be prohibited keeping in view the rise of social crimes against women. The school should have pant-shirts or salwar suits as uniforms for girl students.
Yeah Right! As if Pant-skirts or Salwar suits are going to stop the rapist from raping? Why doesn’t government ban this idiot? FYI- Women have the right to wear what they want and how they want. No one- ABSOLUTELY NO ONE- has right to stop her from doing what she wants.
3. Jitender Chhatar, Khap Panchayat
To my understanding, consumption of fast food contributes to rape. Chowmein leads to hormonal imbalance evoking an urge to indulge in such acts.
This is one of the most weird and ridiculously hilarious comment on “How to stop rape”! If you are allergic to/hate fast foods, esp. chow-mein then stay away from them, why forcing everyone to do so? – Wait! Hope you weren’t the one who conspired against Maggi noodles and behind it’s ban- if you were then the whole of India is going to conspire against you!
4. Mahesh Sharma- Union Minister of Culture
– Girls wanting a night out may be alrightelse where but it is not a part of India culture
– Despite being a Musilm, India’s late president, APJ Abdul Kalam was a great nationalist
– If the sacrifices of a few help maintain the religious sentiments of a section ofsociety, there is no harm in doing this
Can some-one remind him of the century we live in and also that religion doesn’t matter in this age to be a nationalist and didn’t he ever heard the saying “Sabka Maalik Ek!”?
5. Mulayam Singh Yadav- Chief of Samajvadi Party
– It is impossible for4 people to rape someone together. If one brother commits rape, his three other brothers would also be made accused in the case.
– Boys will be boys, they commit mistakes. (He commented this while opposing the capital punishment for rapes)
Then Women should smack him right across his face to show him that its 21st century and every mistake has to be punished accordingly. Boys being boys is not an excuse for them to rape a woman.
6. Om PrakashChautala, INLD Leader and Ex-CM of Haryana
– We should learn from the past, especially in the Mughalera, people used to marry their girls to save them from Mughal atrocities and currently a similar situation is arising in the state.
Instead why cannot we stop the men who rape by providing security to women or much better by arranging free basic defense classes to all the women/girls? Marriage is NOT the solution to everything as opposed to what you think!
7. Rahul Gandhi, Congress Vice President
– Poverty is the state of mind
– Politic is everywhere- It’s in your shirt, it’s in your pants. . .- it’s everywhere!
OKAY!!! No comments on this one- It would take me hours together to rant on him!
8. Sharad Yadav, JD(U) President
-Your God is dark like Ravi Shankar Prasad, but your matrimonial ads insist on white-skinned brides
-The women of the south are dark, but they are as beautiful as their bodies…We don’t seeit here. They know dance.
This statement sparked an outrage- Rightly so! No one gives a damn about the complexion in today’s world. One’s ability and talent is not to be judged by the complexion. Personally speaking- Women in south are much, much more than dance- they are a force of nature and know exactly what they want- they are one of the most confident persons around! And no one, absolutely no one has right to objectify a women based on anything! Hope you get this straight Mr.Sharad Yadav.
9. Sri PrakashJaiswal, Congress MP
– New victories and new weddings both have their own importance. As time passes, the joy of the victory fades, just like a wife becomes old and loses her charm as time passes.
Well- Victory never fades! It always remains etched in the memories- You must have some problem with your memory cells! And a wife losing her charm? Sorry to burst your bubble- But the beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and EVERYONE loses their “YOUTH-ness” but never beauty or charm! Instead the charm keeps increasing – charm doesn’t only include the face, but it also includes loyalty, commitment, love and husband and wife working together as a team!
Hope you weren’t “advertising” polygyny- If you do, then we women do know whom to blame and punish!
