Anurag Kashyap has casted Nawazuddin Siddiqui in his upcoming project based on a true story of serial killer Raman Raghavan, of 1960s wherein the terror of psychopathic serial killer Raman Raghavan was on the rise. He operated in the city of Mumbai and people living in the slums and sleeping in the open were under constant fear of this killer. Even those living in apartments dreaded sleeping with their windows and balcony doors open.
A close source revealed, “Anurag Kashyap was keen that Nawaz play the role. It’s an interesting character. The unit starts shooting in the next 10 days because Nawaz doesn’t have any dates free after that.”
Nawaz is finalized to play the ‘Pyshco Raman’ and reports also say that Shruti Haassan has been approached to play one of the witnesses to this crucial killing in the film. Also, Ayushmann Khurrana is in talks to play the role of a tough cop. Although an official announcement is yet to be made on the same.
