A century has sailed by since the luxury steamship met its catastrophic end in the North Atlantic Ocean. Plunging two miles below the sea after bombarding and side swiping a gigantic iceberg during its voyage, Titanic still remains in the heart of the people.
Many lost their lives, but few survived. Out of the few not even one Engineer survived the shipwreck. This feat of bravery has been underestimated and has become a rare history.It is disheartening to know that these men could not be saved during the disaster. Ever tried to know why?
These brave men in the engine and boiler rooms were working tirelessly to keep the power on, so that the others could escape.
When She hit her corner to the tip of the cold heartless iceberg, it became quite difficult to believe the ship’s truth that it was “unsinkable”. The ship would have sunk an hour earlier if it wasn’t for the actions of these brave men. Their actions ensured that the light and electricity was running as long as possible and also helped the crewmembers to be evacuated.
Their brave sacrifice has resulted in saving 700 passengers through the disastrous events.
