Paneer-Apple Pudding

Alternate layers of cottage cheese (paneer) slices and apple arranged in baking dish, topped with condensed milk and fresh cream and baked, a perfect and simple continental dessert for cocktails dinners and kitty parties when you simply want to be lazy yet want your guests to enjoy the dessert to the fullest. Instead of using the processed sweets or pastries, try this dessert and “wow” every one.

Preparation of Paneer-Apple Pudding

Ingredients:
Paneer (cottage cheese) 250gms
Green apples 1 medium
Butter 1 tbsp
Sugar 4 tablespoons
Cinnamon powder 2 tablespoons
Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder ½ teaspoon
Condensed milk 1 cup
Fresh cream 1 cup
Orange juice ¼ cup

Recipe:
1.Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking dish with unsalted butter.
2.Slice thin slices of cottage cheese and apple.
3.Spread half the cottage cheese slices on the baking dish. Sprinkle 2 tsps.Sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon powder, ½ tsp. cardamom powder and ¼ tsp. pepper powder. Now spread a top layer with a layer of apple slices.
4.Sprinkle remaining sugar cinnamon powder, pepper powder and cardamom powder. Again alternate with another layer of remaining cottage cheese slices.
5.Whip condensed milk, fresh cream and orange juice in a bowl vigorously.
6.Pour this condensed milk mixture on the cottage cheese layer in the baking dish. Add 1 tbsp. butter on top of this arrangement and bake for 20 minutes.
7.Serve warm or chilled as per your preference.
