International designers have been known to be inspired by India for their amazing creations- from the rich traditions, it’s color palette to the eclectic cultural diversity mix, India continues to be a inspiration for many global brands.
Elie Saab took his cue from the subcontinent, Enter India, his Haute Couture 2016 presentation was inspired by the travels of Anglo-Irish noblewoman, LilahWingfield, to Delhi and Udaipur in 1911.
Visible in the creations were Saree, Salwar kameez, the Nehru collars and the lehenga like gowns that closed the show.
