Periods, in India is still a taboo- although the taboo is now being fought strongly by the modern women, although there is still a stigma attached with it. We have always wondered how women and the society handled their periods throughout history! Here are the videos of the evolution of periods.
The short comedic series “Period Piece” is a web-series of the history of periods and this series aims to de-stigmatize menstruation. The series shows women from various periods – Biblical Times, 18th Century France, Victorian England, Buddhism, Colonial America and the 1920s Brooklyn and then present day periods.
