With onset of monsoon, the roads become terrible with overflowing drains and dangerous potholes. This adds extra tension for the riders, be it two or four wheelers as it gets difficult to ride on a flood road.
Even though there are cases of causalities but the respective municipalities became deaf and dumb to these situations.
Here comes an innovation by Bengaluru artist, Baadal Nanjundaswamy who was fed up with irresponsible attitude of civic authorities. He installed a model life-sized crocodile sitting in a big pothole on the Sulthanpalya Main Road in north Bangalore.
According to the artist, a drinking water pipe had broken about a month ago and no one has been designated to resolve it resulting in a big pothole. The subsequent rain and constant traffic has eroded the road.
This has caught the attention of passerby and the artist hopes the message to reach the authorities as early as possible.
