Lizards are considered as a lucky omen in some cultures while for some, it is not. According to Hinduism, lizards are both- auspicious and ill-omen lizard chirping is considered auspicious while lizards falling on the body parts have symbolisms associated-
Spiritual significance of Lizards falling:
1.Head: The individual should be prepared for a rebellion caused by someone who has disturbed the peace of mind.
2.Hair: It symbolizes that the person will gain something very soon.
3.Face: Individual will have a guest or relative at home.
4.Lips: Lizard falling on the upper lip means loss of wealth but if the reptile falls on the lower lip, the person gains wealth.
5.Neck: Destruction of enemies.
6.Arm: If the lizard falls on the left arm, there will be a sensual enjoyment whereas in right arm, it indicates that the person will fall ill.
7.Navel: Lizard falling on the navel indicates gain of precious things.
8.Nails: Lizards falling on nails indicated loss of wealth.
9.Back: If a lizard falls on the back, it means destruction “
10.Buttocks: Lizard falling on buttocks will bring general good or money gain.
11.Feet/Toes: Lizard falling on either the feet or toe, represents fear or some bad luck.
The general good omen in Hinduism is that if and when a lizard enters a home, it represents the entrance of Goddess Lakshmi.
